Lisa, a born New Yorker, moved to the mid-West for college and ended up spending fifteen years in California before returning east to Vermont. After five years of dairy farming to support her art practice, she gave up and went to grad school. She has maintained a studio for over 25 years working mostly in dry media on paper and recently ended a ten-year teaching tenure at Norwich University School of Art and Architecture.
